Dace Bahmann

Dace Krieviņa-Bahmane, the creator and designer for the women's fashion brand Dace Bahmann, is not a newbie in the Latvian fashion industry. She studied fashion design for eleven years, graduating from Riga School of Design and Art, and acquiring a bachelor’s and master's degree from the Art Academy of Latvia. After graduation, Dace worked for several fashion design projects and has created fashion lines for women; she is also a member of the editorial board at L'Officiel Latvia magazine.

In 2014, Dace created a women’s luxury brand BeCarousell, which was renamed Dace Bahmann after two years. Over these years the brand’s collections have been regularly showcased at Riga Fashion Week, as well as New York and Paris exhibitions and several showrooms. Currently, in addition to the existing e-store, the brand wants to expand its market outside of Latvia.

Dace Bahmann brand particularly focuses on the most feminine outfits – dresses and their sensuality. The brand is characterised by combinations of slim-fitting and feminine constructions and innovative textures, creating an aesthetically assuring and distinguishable style. The designer’s typical romantic touch is made by using prints, embroideries, pearls, flower patterns and geometric colour patterns. Recently, the brand has added items such as T-shirts, sports sweaters and jackets to its assortment.
